IBC, STEVTA and KWCCI jointly organized a dialogue on “Gender Mainstreaming in TVET” on May 10, 2018 at Movenpick Hotel. The TVET Sector Support Programme aims to improve Gender Mainstreaming in TVET that meets the demands of the labour market. The event started with a keynote speech by Ameena Saiyid, Chair of Oxford University Press, followed by a panel discussion of distinguished individuals from various organizations. The key points discussed were as follows:
- Women enrolment in TVET programmes.
- Skilled labour and women in technical jobs.
- Equal opportunity employer and its impact on the industry.
- Strategies to ensure women participation in the TVET sector.
